A metropolis is often an ensemble of stories to be told, and perhaps most tellingly told through the imagery of piano music.

Pianist-poet Dr Cheng Wai gathers a diverse collection of solo works by oriental composers including Wang Jianzhong, Doming Lam and Tan Dun, followed by a brilliant showcase of classics in this repertoire by Schumann, Beethoven and Rachmaninov. Gentle and stirring, the evening recital welcomes all hearts and souls.
